Rising up from the sparkling blue of the Mediterranean Sea, the white foam crashes around the rock formations in southeast Cyprus. The Petra tou Romiou (Rock of the Roman) marks the spot where the foam birthed Aphrodite, goddess of love and passion, naked and fully formed, as depicted in the famous painting of Botticelli. In Greek, ‘αφρός’ (afros) means foam, which is how Aphrodite got her name from the word and her life from the waves.

The 18-hole golf course received the first and only PGA National award for Cyprus. Designed by the renowned course architect Cabell Robinson, Aphrodite Hills Golf has a balanced mix of tiered greens, bountiful Bermuda grass fairways, pot bunkers, and extends for over 6,200 meters, over two plateaus and a ravine. It overlooks the birthplace of Aphrodite and is designed to a world-class standard.
TENNIS
For action on the court, there are choices of 5 plexi-cushion hard courts and 4 red clay courts, to accommodate tennis players of all levels of skill. The Tennis Academy provides lessons and tournaments, and of course, all-day play for children and adults.
FOOTBALL
Those in love with the beautiful game of football will find a robust schedule for any age and ability. The Dream Team School has qualified FA and UEFA coaches that teach children from 2 to 16. Private lessons, walking football, night tournaments, and winter training round out the programs of one of the most popular facilities on site.
RIDING
The Riding Club offers lessons in the forests of Lakkos Tou Frangou, north of the resort. The trails traverse outstanding countryside, and the climate is ideal. The stable facilities offer lessons in the arena, and a pony club for children to visit.
HIKING & CYCLING
The nature trails extend further for those who prefer to walk. The undisturbed rural environment allows quiet exploration of the natural beauty of the Aphrodite Hills. The cycle routes have been organized by distance and difficulty, and wind through the Troodos hills, villages, and streams.
SPA
After all the activities, visitors unwind in the world-awarded luxury retreat spa. Thermal pools and gardens add the peace around the massage and treatment options, including Swedish and Thai massages; additionally Indian head massages, spa manicures, hammams, saunas, infinity pools, and pamper packages leave visitors spoilt and relaxed.
